After previously releasing it to developers, Apple has now made iOS 7 available for all users of iPhone 4 or higher, iPad 2 or above, iPad mini or 5th generation iPod touch. Download the update over the air through Settings > General > Software Update or plug in the device to download the update through iTunes.
This is a major update that modernises iOS with a flat design. To maintain a consistent experience, all third-party apps should be updated after updating the OS. See a list of apps that have been updated with a flatter design along with links to download the apps here.
With this release, Apple has doubled the over-the-air download cap from 50MB to 100MB. Also, users of older versions of iOS can now download the last compatible version of apps instead of being blocked from downloading the apps. Learn more about iOS 7 on the Apple website here.
